Overview

Ships and Equipment: What does the Navy use?
On this page you will bear witness to some of the most powerful surface combatants ever put to sea. Gone are the aging platforms, obsolete weapons systems and outmoded sensors. They have been replaced with smaller, better-trained crews, hi-grade weapons and computer systems, and space-based radar systems. The U.S. Navy’s Surface Warfare Fleet has never packed so much power in so few platforms.
