On Duty
Here, you’ll get an opportunity to soar with the Blue Angels, gather classified information with the Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTIs), and disarm mines and roadside bombs with Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) members.
Think the Navy’s just for guys? Women in the Navy train, compete, and succeed with guaranteed equal pay for equal work. And if you’d like to make a difference in the world, the Navy’s Global Presence helps to improve the safety, security, and freedom for everyone.
Come along and provide humanitarian Health Care for hurricane and tsunami victims both at home and abroad. Or, go on top-secret, dangerous missions with the Navy SEAL. With the Seabees you may even construct an airport where there once stood an open field.
Off Duty
In addition to your life as a Sailor, the Navy takes an interest in your life as an individual. Once your workday is over, your time is yours to enjoy! Hang out with your friends, play some ball, see the local sights, or check out the latest movie. Navy Morale, Welfare & Recreation (MWR) alone offers over 50 different activities for Sailors to enjoy.
