Blue Angels
Air Show

Imagine gazing up into the sky to see six F/A-18 Hornets flying in tight formation.
Seamlessly, they transition between maneuvers and methodically flying at hundreds of miles per hour. Their aircraft appear to be moving as one unit, sometimes so low to the ground you fell as if you need to duck your head as they pass. As you witness the gravity-defying loops and rolls, you gasp in wonder. How do they do that? Once you’ve seen the Blue Angels, you’ve seen the epitome of teamwork, dedication and commitment to excellence. Common traits of the Navy team.
Air shows are growing in popularity primarily because they offer something more than just awe-inspiring performances — as if that weren’t enough!
Visitors get a chance to interact with air show performers, see various aircraft up close, sit in a cockpit or two and maybe even ride in a civilian airplane. Most air shows also provide information booths on opportunities in the Navy for those inspired to be a part of the Navy team.
