Navy Benefits
Education and Scholarships

The Navy places a lot of value on education. We want Sailors and Officers who can both learn and teach — our demanding missions and high-tech work environment demand it. The Navy insists that all recruits have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and all Officers earn a college degree. The Navy encourages all Sailors to pursue their education. To help you, the Navy offers money for college, ways to pay off student loans, and even offers college courses on ships and bases.
