Who's Your Hometown Hero?

The U.S. Navy is pleased to announce the Navy Leadership Challenge Video Essay Contest.

If you’re between the ages of 15 and 18, live in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont, and want the thrill of a real Navy experience, enter the Leadership Challenge Video Essay Contest today!

Just send us a 1 to 3 minute video featuring your local Hometown Hero. Tell us why he or she deserves the title, and back it up with stories that demonstrate your Hero’s leadership, commitment and value to the community.

One winner from each state (and a parent/guardian) will receive an all- expenses-paid trip to a U.S. Navy Base. The trip might include hands-on demonstrations of cutting-edge Navy technology, tours of Navy aircraft and ships, and access to some of the Navy’s everyday heroes.
